Kira Plastinina's US Stores Declare Bankruptcy
✖ The Bad News:Just seven months after opening her first store in the United States, Kira Plastinina, the 16 year old Russian clothing designer, favorite of Paris Hilton and others, resorts to filing for Bankruptcy. Almost all of the 12 stores that were opened will be forced to shut their doors. Their reported debt exceeds $40million dollars. Kira's 70+ stores in Russia will be unaffected by this change.
“I’ve been working really hard, and am very proud of myself for keeping my determination and being able to work and accomplish so much at my young age,” Plastinina said on MySpace, just before the bankruptcy filing.
